  • Brand data: Brand names, domains, competitor names, and tracked queries you configure.
  • Scan results: AI platform responses to your tracked queries, including mentions, citations, and recommendations.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to improve the product.
  • Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Surfaced service, including running AI visibility scans.
  • To send you reports, alerts, and product updates (you can opt out anytime).
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To improve our product and develop new features.
  • To respond to your support requests.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication provider.
  • Stripe: Payment processing.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel: Application hosting.
  • AI platforms (OpenAI, Perplexity, Google, Anthropic, xAI, Together, Mistral, DeepSeek): To execute visibility scans on your behalf. Only your tracked queries are sent — never your personal information.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, row-level security policies, and API key hashing. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Opt out of marketing communications.
  • Request information about how your data is processed.
